About Us

Basic Information:
We are open year round, Monday through Friday from 6:30 A.M.- 6:00 P.M. We offer childcare from 6 weeks up through 13 years old with educational programs centered around each age group.

We have 4 different classrooms designed each with their students in mind and a creative name our students helped us create to call each class by.  For the older students (who we call the “Lave Rockers”) we have a play fort with a reading nook up top  along with computers and a Nintendo Wii. For our 4 and 5 year olds (our “Chipmunks”) a few of their favorites are the dress up stations, a large play kitchen and dining area, and the large dinosaur ABC rug perfect for story time and interactive class songs. For our 2 and 3 year olds (our “Ducklings”) they love our indoor see-saw, play tunnel, and our books.
Lastly, for our babies and early toddlers (our “bunnies”) we have a large play mat and and lots of soft books and toys to make different sounds while they play.

The “Lave Rockers” classroom where our Pre-K through Elementary school students learn and have fun.
The “Chipmunks” classroom for our 4 and 5 year old friends.

We also have a large backyard perfect for kickball or a game of tag, a play fort with spiral slide and rock walls, as well as many sandboxes perfect for that giant sandcastle your child’s been wanting to make. For our younger children we also have a smaller “Little Tikes” slide and house they can explore.

Meals:
We provide  breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack daily and provide each family with menus at the beginning of each month. Our kids have always said they’ve loved our food, and are even often filling up on second and third helpings. We home cook each meal in our kitchen at Peppermint. Checkout our past menus in our gallery to see what we’ve been making lately!

Curriculum:
Starting from 3 years on up, we’ve incorporated simple STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based lessons into the children’s daily lesson plans. This helps the children become more comfortable practicing these skills early on, thus making math and science both fun and interesting. These hands-on, interactive, and challenging activities help the students to do much more than just learn.

Summer:
This summer, for those in elementary school and Pre-K we’re bringing back our summer camp activities, including various theme weeks, field trips, and days on the playground or outside playing in our backyard.
